This blog has passed on! This blog is no more! It's has ceased to be! It's
expired and gone to meet its maker!
It's a stiff! Bereft of life, it's rests in peace! If Google hadn't kept it
going it would be pushing up the daisies!
Its metabolic processes are now history! It's off the twig!
It's kicked the bucket, it's shuffled off his mortal coil, run down the
curtain and joined the choir invisible!!
THIS IS AN EX-BLOG!!!

Here's a cool tutorial for you - "The Expendables 2" Title Sequence.
Nancy at Mettle gives a quick rundown on how to create this parody of "The Expendables 2" film title sequence, using CS6 Master Collection (After Effects + Photoshop) and Mettle's ShapeShifter AE plug-in.
You'll handle guns, knives, and over 10 million polygons, all within safe confines of After Effects.

AE Project Giveaway #3
Hey good folks,
This isn't a full project.
it's an AE 3D (duplicated layers) iPhone 3 and iPhone 4. i use it a lot in many of my projects.
The iPhone, the shadows and the reflection are all separate objects and as such they are easy to manipulate. the iPhone screen is procedural, which means that everything you change in the screen comp will show in the main iPhone comp on the iPhone and it's reflection.
it renders very fast - so have fun with it and leave a comment or a link if you do anything cool with it.

Hey good folks,
Giveaway #2 is here.
this is my take on the opening sequence for T.V series "13".
the original one was created with 3D software no doubt, but i thought that i can get a smiler result with After effects. and I'm pretty happy with the result i got.
What do you think of it?

New Tutorial - Coming Soon
Hey good folks,
I'm working on a new interesting tutorial that will involve tracking with Mamoworld's extremely easy to use Mochaimport+ script.
and placing a 3D horrible looking burn scar on the cheek of a very nice looking lady that has done me absolutely nothing wrong, using Mettle's plugin FreeForm Pro.
Here's a quick peek
